Introducing version 4.1 & version 4.2
We’re excited to announce the release of version 4.1 (July) and version 4.2 (September), both minor updates that build on the major version 4.0 delivered at the end of April. These releases include several enhancements and extensions across key platform components.
Unlocking Efficiency with Vyntra's Correlation Engine
At the core of our Vyntra Transaction Analytics and Vyntra Transaction Track & Trace solutions lies a key capability: the Vyntra Correlation Engine. This advanced real-time engine reconstructs complete transactions from individual events. Those transactions act as virtual containers for messages/events related to payments, securities transactions, and more.
What's New in Version 4.1
- Revamped user interface for end-users (beta enhancements): The redesigned GUI, introduced in beta with version 4.0, has been further improved and extended in version 4.1.
- Platform API enhancements: Several improvements have been made to the Platform API, expanding on the capabilities first introduced in version 4.0.
- Raw Data Storage 2.0 enhancements: Enhancements have been applied to Raw Data Storage 2.0, originally introduced in version 3.3, further improving performance and reliability.
- Migration tooling enhancements: A number of updates have been made to the migration toolkit to ease and accelerate transitions from Solr to Elasticsearch and to support the migration of user configuration data from earlier platform versions to 4.1.
- Decommissioning of obsolete features: Version 4.1 also marks the removal of several outdated features and capabilities that are no longer supported by the platform. The most notable change is the decommissioning of Solr as an index store – from version 4.1 onward, only Elasticsearch will be supported.
What's New in Version 4.2
- Additional improvements on revamped user interface, raw data storage 2.0 and (Solr to Elasticsearch) migration tooling.
- Introducing our new standardized Transaction Analytics (TA) solution: Built on top of our Message Warehouse (MW), the Transaction Analytics (TA) solution brings a new dimension to data analysis by shifting focus from individual messages to fully correlated transactions, unlocking transaction-level intelligence.
- From messages to transactions: TA automatically transforms raw financial messages into structured transactions, providing a clear, unified transaction view.
- End-to-end visibility: Understand the full lifecycle of each transaction with the ability to drill down to the original financial messages.
- Actionable insights: Move beyond message-level analysis and explore transaction volumes, values, and patterns to support operational, compliance, and business intelligence use cases.
- TA empowers your teams with deeper insights and operational control, turning financial data into strategic advantage.
- Dictionaries & Industry Packages: A number of improvements to the dictionaries and payment industry packages to better support standard industry formats, such as STEP2.
- A rebranding from Intix to Vyntra for all end-user facing elements is also part of 4.2
How the Correlation Engine Works:
- ✅ Intelligent Analysis: Every incoming message or event is analyzed for relevance and detail. For example, if a message (e.g. a PAIN.001 containing multiple payment initiations) includes multiple events, each individual event is extracted and processed separately.
- ✅ Advanced Matching: Using sophisticated correlation logic, each event is matched to the correct transaction – even in complex scenarios such as:
- Out-of-order event delivery
- Multiple and/or composite correlation identifiers
- Single events affecting multiple transactions
- ✅ Creation of New Transactions: When no match is found, the engine dynamically creates a new transaction to capture and organize the incoming event data.
- ✅ Dynamic Updating: If a match is found, the existing transaction is immediately updated and enriched with the new event. In some cases, even previously linked events may be updated to reflect the new context.
