Software Release Policy

This section is intended for on-premise customers. SaaS customers do not need to manage release upgrades — Vyntra handles this on your behalf.
From version 10 onwards, Vyntra Fincrime adopts a time-based support model: every on-premise release comes with a 3-year Software Maintenance Support window and a defined end-date, published at release time on our website: https://vyntra.com/software-release-policy-fincrime/. This gives your organisation a clear, predictable horizon to plan upgrades, allocate resources, and manage EOL transitions — with no ambiguity.

Vyntra Fincrime uses a three-part version number: Major.Minor.Patch

A Major Release means an incremental release of Software that provides significant functional and/or architectural changes. It may include breaking APIs, SDK or data model changes. Upgrades may require new hardware.
Minor
_.Y._
A Minor Release means an incremental release of Software that provides maintenance fixes and additional Software features.
Patch
_._.Z
A Patch Release means an incremental release of Software that provides maintenance fixes with no functional breaking changes.
A release is defined by a major or minor version bump. Patch versions are not considered new releases — they are updates delivered within the support window of their parent release.
What you need to know
Vyntra Fincrime designates certain releases as Long-Term Support (LTS). On-premise customers must only install LTS releases. LTS releases can be recognized by the fact that the version minor is an even number (10.0.x, 10.2.x, 11.4.x, …).
Each LTS release comes with a published and committed support end-date known at release time:
