Honored at PVEI 2026 for its innovative, behavior-based approach to fraud prevention
On November 3, at IMD in Lausanne, Vyntra received the Innovation Prize at the 13th Prix Vaudois des Entreprises Internationales (PVEI).
Since 2014, the prize has honored companies based in the canton of Vaud that are active internationally, and it highlights their contribution to the reach and diversity of the local economy. The Innovation category recognizes a company that stands out through an innovative product or business model.
A different way to fight financial crime
For Vyntra, that innovation is a different way of fighting financial crime. Fraudsters move faster with AI, and AI also helps us prevent faster. Our approach: analyze user behavior to block suspicious transactions, without lagging behind the threats.
The results speak for themselves.

Vyntra’s 170 employees, 61 of them in Yverdon-les-Bains, make that happen every day.
Innovation isn’t having one good idea once. It’s persevering, staying curious and questioning yourself.”

A story rooted in Vaud
This prize also recognizes a story rooted in Vaud. More than fifteen years ago, two young engineers, Joël Winteregg, now CEO of Vyntra, and Raffael Maio, now CSO, started NetGuardians in Yverdon-les-Bains. It was the first company to emerge from the Y-Parc incubator, and it has moved four times to make room for growth, always staying at Y-Parc.
In 2025, NetGuardians merged with Belgian company Intix to form Vyntra. The team has grown, and it is still based here.
Thank you to our teams, in Yverdon and wherever we operate, to our clients, our partners, Y-Parc, and our loved ones for the long days and the weekends given to this adventure. Thank you also to the CVCI, the State of Vaud and Innovaud for the prize, and congratulations to Reitzel and Institut Le Rosey, honored alongside us.
We will keep going from the canton of Vaud, to protect financial institutions and their customers around the world.
